Roofing in Luther and the Towns Around It

We inspect, repair and replace roofs on homes in Luther and the surrounding part of the Oklahoma City metro. Every job starts the same way: a walk of the roof, a look in the attic where we can reach it, and a plain account of what we found before we suggest any work.

The Towns We Cover

Our base is Luther, and we regularly work in Jones, Harrah and Choctaw. Those drives are short enough that a follow-up visit to check a repair, or to look at a stain that showed up after the next rain, is no trouble for us. Before the crew arrives, we plan where the dump trailer and material drop will go so your drive, lawn and landscaping stay clear.

We also take roof replacement, roof repair, storm damage repair and gutter jobs in Edmond, Midwest City and Spencer. The process stays the same from town to town. You get the same inspection, the same photos of the shingles, flashing and decking we looked at, and a plain explanation of what is worn out, what is damaged and what still has years left. If your town is not listed here, ask us on the phone and we will tell you straight whether we can reach you.

What Shapes Roof Work Across the Area

  1. 01

    Hail and straight-line wind

A hailstone that hits an asphalt shingle can crack the fiberglass mat underneath and strip off the granules that shield it from UV. The thunderstorms that move through each spring also carry gusts strong enough to pull tabs free of their seal strips. Neither kind of damage reliably shows from the yard, so we check vent caps, flashing and the shingles themselves at arm's length before we call anything storm damage.

  2. 02

    Ice, freeze-thaw and summer heat

Winter ice storms load gutters and can back water up under the first courses of shingles at the eaves. Summer attic temperatures then bake the same roof, drying out sealants around pipe boots and aging shingles faster when intake and exhaust ventilation are out of balance. We look at the soffit vents and ridge or box vents together for that reason.

  3. 03

    Housing age and roof styles

Homes here run from farmhouses and ranch houses built decades ago to recent builds. On the older ones we often find an extra layer of shingles nailed over the original, or board sheathing with gaps between the planks, and either one changes the tear-off and decking plan for a replacement. Recent builds usually carry more valleys and spots where the roof meets a wall, so step flashing and kick-out flashing get extra attention.

  4. 04

    Permits and HOA rules

Permit requirements for reroofing differ between the incorporated towns and unincorporated county land, so we confirm the rules for your address before work starts and pull the permit where one is required. In neighborhoods with an HOA, shingle color or style may need board approval first. We will go over the product name, color and specs with you so you have what the board asks for.

  5. 05

    Gutters and drainage

Heavy spring downpours test gutter size and downspout placement. Undersized or poorly pitched gutters overflow at the corners and soak fascia boards, so we check gutter slope and fascia condition during every roof inspection.

Find Out What Your Roof Actually Needs

Call and tell us where you live and what you have noticed, such as a ceiling stain, missing shingles or gutters spilling over. We will set a time to inspect the roof and walk you through the findings before any recommendation.
